How does a 101-year-old gasoline tractor work?

This is perhaps the oldest-machine walkaround you’ll ever see! The film was taken at the recent 2018 Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club (ACMOC) National Show in San Antonio and highlights some of the key features of a very rare Holt 120 tractor from 1917. The beginnings of the Holt Manufacturing Company can be traced to 1883. By 1909 it had become the first company to successfully manufacture a continuous track tractor, which prompted it to change its name to Holt Caterpillar Company. In 1925, after a merger with CL Best, it became known simply as the Caterpillar Tractor Co.
