Caterpillar’s dozer in the desert

Extreme heat testing can brutally expose the weaknesses of a vehicle. Watch as Caterpillar put its new D8T dozer equipped with a C15 Acert engine through its paces out in the searing desert sun. Compared to its relative the D8R, it pushes 13% more material with each pass, while its 10.3 meter blade is the largest in its class.
