Steyr will present a cross-section of its forestry tractor range at Interforst 2026 in Munich, Germany, which runs this week from 15 to 18 October, with models spanning compact utility machines to high-horsepower units on stand FS.1109/1.
The line-up on show includes the Plus, Expert CVT, Profi CVT, Impuls CVT and Cervus CVT, all fitted with FPT Stage V engines ranging from 3.6 to 8.7 litres.

Three tractors will work in the fair’s Action Area, carrying out forestry tasks. A municipal-specification tractor fitted with a MekraLang AI-assisted camera system will also be on display; the system uses AI-based vehicle and pedestrian detection to identify objects around the tractor and marks them on the operator’s screen.
A Cervus CVT will demonstrate its suitability for demanding forestry work, including applications such as wood chipping that can use a reverse-drive system, with a forestry cab demonstrator illustrating the capability. An Impuls CVT will also feature.

“Forestry professionals require tractors that combine robustness, operator comfort, versatility and productivity. Interforst provides the ideal platform to showcase how Steyr solutions support modern forestry operations and reinforce Steyr’s position as a trusted specialist partner for professional forestry customers,” says Jona Hormann, key account manager municipality and forestry at Steyr.
Alongside the machinery, Steyr will highlight the Wald Klima-Klasse initiative, run with the German Forest Owners Association AGDW – Die Waldeigentümer and FPT. In 2025, 75 students from three schools across Germany planted 1,800 trees, and the project is entering its next phase in 2026 with a focus on long-term implementation and broader adoption. Representatives of AGDW and the Initiative Group of Forestry Cooperatives (IK) within AGDW will present the project at Interforst and discuss biodiversity protection and environmental education.
“The Wald Klima-Klasse brings young people into the forest, where they experience first-hand sustainable forest management. By connecting education, forestry and innovative partners, we are investing in climate-resilient forests and in the next generation that will value and help shape our environment and its sustainable management,” says Andreas Täger, speaker of the Initiative Group of Forestry Cooperatives (IK) of AGDW.
