Industrial Truck Association announces new chairman of the board of directors

The Industrial Truck Association (ITA) has announced Brett Wood, president & CEO of Toyota Material Handling North America, is the new ITA chairman of the board of directors, effective January 22, 2015.

Previously vice chairman of the board, he will complete the remaining term (2015) of Brian Butler, president & CEO, Kion North America, who announced his pending retirement from Kion.

Wood has been a long-serving member of the ITA’s Executive Committee and has also held previous chairmanship positions within ITA. His predictions for the industrial vehicle sector in 2033 appeared in iVT September 2013.
