Grammer supplying seats for Palfinger Epsilon cranes

Grammer, a globally active supplier of interiors and seats for industrial and commercial vehicles, has signed up Epsilon Kran, a leading manufacturer of timber handling and recycling cranes, as a new customer.

Grammer will begin supplying its high-comfort MSG 85/721 seat for the master drive high seat of Epsilon’s new M-Series cranes this month. This new high seat is designed for use in the timber industry and sets new standards of design, comfort, and user-friendliness.

The mechanical-suspension MSG 85/721 can be adjusted to the user’s weight and is equipped with both a fore/aft isolator and vertical shock absorbers to minimize stress and strain on crane operators’ backs.

Seat heating is included as a standard feature for enhanced comfort on cold days. The extra-wide armrests are designed to meet the special requirements of crane operators by giving them the best possible support for using the joysticks. New kinematics make it easy to fold the seatback down for switching from crane to driving mode, and fore/aft adjustment of the seat’s position relative to the joysticks rounds out the many outstanding features of this ergonomically shaped high-comfort seat.
