New Holland Agriculture has showcased its new product offering at the second annual Nampo event, Bredasdorp, Western Cape, South Africa

The latest New Holland TD3.50F tractor for orchards and vineyards, the T5.S Electro Command™ and TS6.120 High Clearance tractors, the Guardian SP310F front boom sprayer and CR7.90 IntelliSence combine have beenpresented for the first time in Bredasdorp.

The latest New Holland T5.S Electro Command and TS6.120 High Clearance tractors, the Guardian SP310F front boom sprayer, the CR7.90 IntelliSence combine and – most importantly for the Western Cape region – the TD3.50F tractor for orchards and vineyards, have made their debut in the Western Cape province of South Africa, being presented to farmers and customers at the show.

During the show, New Holland also organised a customer day at its stand (71 and 78). The customer-dedicated day was split into two sessions allowing customers to explore the new products while interacting with the New Holland sales and product marketing team.

For vineyard and citrus producers, the new TD3.50F is the ideal solution for working with table grape vineyards. New Holland TD3.50F ROPS platform 4WD and 2WD tractors have earned a reputation for dependable and versatile performance in the sub-50 hp category. Combined with a proven record for whole low lifetime operating costs, the TD3.50F is the tractor of choice for orchards, vineyards and as a general workhorse across a wide range of enterprises. By reducing the overall length, stability is improved too, the tractor having a longer wheelbase to enhance its performance when fitted with a front loader or heavy mounted attachment. With its stylish new look, wide platform improved comfort and proven rugged build, the TD3.50F now offers even better performance and value just as you would expect from New Holland.

The Guardian SP310F front boom sprayer is the easiest way to spray, combining rugged construction with an innovative design, which saves time. With the boom in front, you never look back because the operator gets the best view of the spray nozzles and the field ahead to confidently cover ground faster. And with redesigned lift arms and a chassis with 1.8-metre clearance, the SP310F gives an even more unobstructed view. The spray is delivered into the crop before the tyres go over it, eliminating the potential for dust to neutralize the spray. Tanks are available with 3,800- or 4,500-litre capacity, and there are five available boom sizes, ranging from 27 to 41 metres.

The T5.S Electro Command Series tractors are fitted with the FPT Industrial S8000 4-cylinder engine with intercooled turbocharger, with three models offering power outputs of 65kW, 72kW and 81kW. The Electro Command semi-automatic transmission, with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears, differentiates this tractor from others on the market. The T5 Series can be equipped with 540/540E/1,000 rpm PTO with ground speed, as well as 84 l/min hydraulic flow and close centre remotes. The 145-litre fuel tank makes it possible to work long hours without interruption.

The TS6.120 High Clearance tractor is characterised by unprecedented ground clearance of 645mm and a rated power output of 88kW, enabling use with greater implements to increase productivity. When connected to a 16×8 dual-power synchronized hydraulic shuttle with creeper transmission, and with 83 l/min hydraulic pump flow, this tractor can do all the spraying required. A 540/1,000 rpm PTO is part of the package.

The CR7.90 IntelliSence combine features the powerful 449 hp FPT Industrial Cursor 9 engine and the Twin Rotor technology, which achieves best-in-class grain and straw quality thanks to its gentle multipass action. Grain cracking, at an industry-leading level of just 0.1%, is a thing of the past. Opti-Clean ensures the cleanest grain sample and there are two types of the rotor from which to choose. Advanced harvesting technology, including IntelliSteer auto-guidance, means that harvesting can continue around the clock without stopping. Innovative features such as the SmartTrax, IntelliCruise and Opti-Spread systems further enhance productivity.
