At Agritechnica 2025, Fendt will display its redesigned its 800 Vario series, targeting large arable operations with three models spanning 260-320hp. The Fendt 826, 829 and 832 Vario feature DynamicPerformance, providing an additional 23hp when secondary consumers like cooling fans and A/C compressors demand power, ensuring consistent performance for primary drivetrain functions.
The series debuts Fendt VarioDrive for the first time in this range – the singlestage transmission with permanent independent four-wheel drive that eliminates manual shifting between field and road operations. “The system’s ‘pull-in turn’ effect reduces turning circles by having the front axle actively pull the machine through turns without torsion,” says Manja Morawitz, head of corporate communications, Fendt.

Power comes from the AGCO Core 80 6-cylinder, 8.0-litre engine specially developed for Fendt, already approved for HVO100 and other fuels according to DIN 15940. The engine operates on Fendt’s iD low-speed concept with rated speed at 1,700rpm, working range of 1,100-1,400rpm, and maximum torque of 1,680Nm available from 1,200rpm on the 832 model. A top speed of 60km/h is reached at 1,450rpm.
Hydraulic capability offers up to six rear and two front control units (6+2 configuration), with pump options of 165 l/min, 220 l/min, or a double pump system delivering maximum 385 l/min (165 + 220 l/min).

The cab prioritises operator comfort with the FendtOne workstation featuring up to three displays and optional footrests. The electrically adjustable Super Comfort Seat Titanium Leather offers climate control, heating and lumbar support. Standard air-conditioning, a 12-litre compressor cooler, optional heated front windows, and Apple CarPlay integration enhance the working environment.
