Putting together Sennebogen’s giant crawler crane

The Sennebogen 7700 is equipped with an 8m wide crawler undercarriage and ballast of 135t, which gives the machine the necessary stability. A powerful 313kW Caterpillar diesel engine drives the two 220kN winches. The compact uppercarriage of the 7700, with a transport width of 3m, is the largest component which makes the 300t crane easy to maneuver and transport. Putting together is a mammoth task and can be seen in this video.
