Jungheinrich is expanding its forklift truck business with the announcement of a joint venture with Fricke.

The two companies have agreed to combine their expertise in the fields of intralogistics and spare-parts wholesale to launch an international sale of spare parts for the material handling vehicles. It is envisaged that there is an opportunity particularly within the independent aftermarket and online.

Jungheinrich board member for sales and marketing Christian Erlach said, “It is our customers that primarily benefit from the close co-operation between Jungheinrich and Fricke. Fricke’s many years of expertise within e-commerce combined with Jungheinrich’s expertise in truck construction and service provide outstanding opportunities for a highly customer-friendly provision of spare parts.”

Fricke Group managing director and founder Hans-Peter Fricke said, “Jungheinrich and Fricke are two family companies with shared values. We’re linked by a consistent focus on the customer and a passion for technology. We know that Jungheinrich is an innovative leader with outstanding products and are certain that together we can offer our current and future customers real added value.”
