Hyster launches easy-to-use weighing systems

Hyster has developed user-friendly weighing systems that will save on costs and operator time. Easily fitted, the Static and Static Plus products also have limited impact on container throughput.

The press of a button on either of the two systems activates a pre-programmed lift cycle that can obtain a verified gross mass (VGM), while an in-cab screen display can quickly input container identification and provide a time-stamped VGM. The data can then be printed by the vehicle’s onboard printer or using 3G or wi-fi access.

Both systems rely on hydraulic load-sensing technology, with low maintenance requirements and comply with the OIML R51 class Y(b) guidelines, and are designed to be fitted to the Hyster ReachStacker and Laden Container Handler models up to five years old.

The Static Plus option is recommended for countries where Legal for Trade regulations apply and uses the Trimble Loadrite L2180 system. Lifting a container for five seconds, the system can weigh the load during truck manoeuvering and has an error margin of 1% of the load weight.
