MTA to showcase customizable range at Bauma 2019

Customization will be the theme for MTA at Bauma this year, the company has announced.

Different dimensions and shapes for a wide variety of customer needs, with robustness and reliability to resist vibrations and high temperatures and high protection rating degrees, will be key features of the dashboards, displays and ECUs.

All of these products have been developed and manufactured to meet the requirements of vehicles demanding advanced environmental protection and, particularly, to satisfy the need of enhanced customization, which is more and more requested by OEMs.

For this purpose, MTA developed the configurable software tool MTA Studio that can be used to customize displays, dashboards and control units according to different needs.

Within the range, which counts six dashboards, four displays and two ECUs, is Leonardo, a 12.1in color TFT display that can simultaneously show several different parameters. The anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint multi-touchscreen assures perfect visibility even with intense direct light and responds when the operator wears gloves too.

Leonardo’s software can be customized using Android Studio, a software environment that enables customers to develop complex, refined graphics. In order to ensure user-friendly programming, MTA has developed a proprietary Android plug-in called Speedy Creator that makes available specific functions and graphics of the construction world, allowing quick and simple development of applications.

Leonardo, like the other customizable electronic products, is developed and manufactured in Italy, in MTA’s Rolo plant, a site featuring the latest technologies and accredited according to the most stringent and current regulations in the automotive sector.

MTA and its products will be on stand at Hall 2A, Stand 627 at Bauma 2019.
