The Liebherr R 926 Compact crawler excavator has been recognized with the Red Dot Award – Product Design 2015.

The international jury awarded the prize for the high design quality of the Liebherr crawler excavator, which will be presented at Intermat from April 20-25, 2015, in Paris, France.

Liebherr launched the R 926 Compact crawler excavator on the market last year. With greater comfort, improved productivity and cost-effectiveness, it superseded the R 924 Compact.

The R 926 excavator offers an operating weight of approximately 25 tonnes, while its diesel engine features an oxidizing catalytic converter for exhaust gas aftertreatment and returns 120 kW/163 HP of power, while meeting the emissions standard IIIB. A Liebherr particulate filter is available as an option.

The R 926 Compact combines the properties of a standard crawler excavator, such as high performance and versatility, with the advantages of a compact machine. With small, compact dimensions, it is well suited for urban deployment and thanks to the wide scope of equipment and options, this excavator can be configured for all earthmoving, deep foundation and demolition tasks.
