Genie appoints Terex AWP directors

Genie has promoted two of its employees to director-level to oversee the Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) teams. Adam Hailey will lead the product management team, while Chad Hislop will manage the design engineering section of the business.

Hailey (above left), who studied mechanical engineering at Seattle University, has been at Genie since 2005, and has held various roles in design engineering, before joining the product management group five years ago. He will be responsible for new product road mapping, as well as identifying new technologies for the firm to invest in.

In the 15 years Hislop (above right) has been with the company, he has worked extensively in product management and engineering, including new product development and product improvement teams.

Holding a degree in mechanical engineering and in technology management-focused business administration from the University of Washington, Hislop will oversee product improvement for Genie products worldwide.
