BorgWarner is combining the distribution of aftermarket products from its Emissions Systems and Turbo Systems businesses to further strengthen its aftermarket portfolio in Europe. In addition to turbochargers, BorgWarner Aftermarket Europe will now distribute emissions aftermarket products, including Wahler branded exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, coolers and valves as well as thermostats and thermoswitches. These technologies are available for a broad range of vehicles and deliver the same high performance and reliability as OEM products.

“Merging our aftermarket forces helps improve our market presence and further strengthens our strategic position as a supplier of high-quality spare parts,” said Michael Boe, vice president and general manager – global aftermarket, BorgWarner Turbo Systems. “Our customers will benefit from our broader aftermarket product range, improved availability and service quality.”

BorgWarner’s aftermarket turbochargers use high-quality materials and optimum processing techniques to deliver robust and reliable OEM quality. All remanufactured BorgWarner turbochargers provide the same smooth trouble-free operation and powerful boosting performance as new series products. A worldwide distributors’ network as well as fast and reliable spare parts supply provide high levels of customer satisfaction.

In addition to thermostats and thermoswitches, BorgWarner’s Emissions Systems aftermarket product portfolio comprises EGR coolers and valves. Compact EGR valves offer precise and responsive control combined with high flow capability, excellent sealing, good corrosion resistance and reliable operation to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOX) emissions. All eco-friendly aftermarket products offer OEM quality for optimal operating temperatures and improved fuel economy.
