Massey Ferguson has unveiled the 7S Mark 2 Series, six tractors from 170hp to 245hp. Full production and first deliveries are due to begin in spring 2027 and the current 7S models will remain in the lineup.
“With the MF 7S Mark 2, we are expanding our tractor offering with models that bridge the gap in terms of size and power between the MF 7S and MF 8S Xtra series,” says Jérôme Aubrion, director marketing, Massey Ferguson Europe & Middle East.
Key changes over the 7S include a new AGCO Power engine, standard Dyna-VT transmission and a redesigned cab. It is also the first Massey Ferguson range fitted at the factory with PTx FarmEngage, AGCO’s mixed-fleet management software, which uses the tractor’s telemetry for remote fleet monitoring.
The new 7.5-litre, six-cylinder AGCO Power engine uses a single turbo and has 25% fewer parts than its predecessor, a change the OEM says improves long-term reliability. It also meets Stage V emissions standards without exhaust gas recirculation.

Torque stays flat between 800rpm and 1,500rpm on all models, and maximum power is available across a wide speed band which removes the need for engine power management. Early field tests have also shown improved fuel efficiency. The 410-litre fuel tank and 56.5-litre AdBlue tank are 25% and 88% larger respectively than on the MF 7S.
The two-range Dyna-VT transmission offers a top speed of 57km/h and adds ParkLock and an emergency brake. A four-speed PTO is standard, alongside closed-centre, load-sensing hydraulics with maximum flows of 110, 150 or 190 litres/min.
The wheelbase has grown from 2.88m on the MF 7S to 2.95m, which Massey Ferguson says reduces the front ballast needed for large rear implements without compromising stability. A new front axle gives a 5.3m turning radius, while a 14-tonne gross vehicle weight allows heavier implements to be transported within legal limits. BKT has developed two 2m-diameter rear tyres for the series from its Agrimax V-Flecto range.
The cab is a reworked version of the MF 8S design, with 3.4m³ of interior space and 6.6m² of glass. The Protect-U layout leaves a 24cm gap between the engine and the cab, reducing noise, vibration and heat.

The Datatronic 6 12in touchscreen has a redesigned interface for accessing key settings and can display up to four camera feeds at once, from front and rear cameras plus two further units that can be mounted on the tractor, trailers or implements. LED lighting is standard, with four upgrade packages offering up to 27 LEDs – eight on the bonnet and 19 on the cab.
“It features the largest cab in its segment, new-generation interfaces and seamless integration with the PTx FarmEngage ecosystem,” says Aubrion. “Together with extensive customisation possibilities offered through MF By You, the MF 7S Mark 2 is designed to help farmers work more efficiently while tailoring the machine to their specific needs.”
