Manitou Group gives fresh start to its warehousing product line with creation of a dedicated subsidiary

Manitou BF has created LMH Solutions SAS, a subsidiary dedicated to its warehousing business. This fully owned subsidiary of Manitou BF, designs, assembles and distributes the Loc and Manilec brand name products through a network of independent dealers.

This dedicated organization will provide the optimum solutions to Loc and Manitou dealer customers thanks to its focus and a high level of specific know-how. Above and beyond the existing ranges of standard warehousing equipment, LMH Solutions is reinforcing its strategy of developing custom made products manufactured on order, based on its recognized expertise and with the improved agility provided by this new structure. 

The production and administrative functions of LMH Solutions are located in Beaupréau, France, and the sales and after-sales service functions in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, France. 

“Highly motivated teams have been working for nearly a year on this project and succeeded to install the production facility at the new Beaupréau site, which is 100% operational, by the end of 2014,” Thibaut de La Bigne, managing director of LMH Solutions stated. “With simplified and reactive processes, this new structure will permit us to provide the agility necessary to develop custom made products manufactured on order for which our customers recognize our added value”. 

Michel Denis, president and chief executive officer of the Manitou group stated, “This operation is an important step in the strengthening of the Manitou Group in industrial handling. With LMH Solutions the group has now an improved reactivity and a more efficient organization to develop warehousing products, a product range which is very complementary to the industrial forklift business”.
