Bosch Rexroth and its subsidiary HydraForce will present compact hydraulic solutions for construction machinery at Bauma China 2026, with the combined portfolio shown at stand N4.511 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 24 to 27 November.
The exhibit connects hydraulic components, electronics and software with application-specific manifold design, supporting precise machine functions and simplifying integration across excavators and other off-highway equipment.
“The combined Bosch Rexroth and HydraForce portfolio gives machine manufacturers access to a broad range of compact hydraulic technology and engineering expertise. At bauma China, we will show how this combination can address specific machine challenges and support the development of integrated hydraulic solutions,” says Jingwei He, head of RBU of compact hydraulics in China.
Among the Bosch Rexroth solutions on show, the company’s load holding valves are designed for reliable load management in mobile machines such as compact excavators and telehandlers, with a compact design intended to reduce wear and support stable operation in construction, agriculture and material handling applications.
Developed for excavators from three to 50 tonnes, the H Valve range is designed to improve fuel efficiency by limiting pressure losses, while the E Valve range adds electronic control for precise movements and shorter cycle times. Its ghost mode function can further reduce energy consumption when hydraulic power is not required.
The modular EDG OBE range integrates electronics into a compact directional valve platform, providing precise control for applications including aerial work platforms, forklifts and agricultural cranes.
On the HydraForce side, the excavator boom suspension manifold supports working pressures up to 420bar and flow rates up to 150l/min. Low leakage prevents unwanted boom movement when the suspension is inactive, while mechanical pressure adjustment avoids the need for complex software during setup. The manifold can be flanged between the hose rupture valve and the cylinder, installed on the boom or arm cylinder and combined with a separate activation manifold, and a complete package with controller, software and system layout is available. The solution meets ISO 8643 hose burst testing requirements.
Designed for flow rates up to 120 l/min and working pressures up to 350bar, or 420bar with a 10% duty cycle, the slewing gear control manifold supports flow- or pressure-based braking in open or closed centre hydraulic systems. Cartridge technology simplifies tuning and allows the layout to adapt to the available installation space, and anti-cavitation and anti-shock valves, pilot pressure generation and mechanical brake control can be integrated according to the machine architecture. A SIL 2 or Performance Level d rating is achievable for the brake function, excluding the motor brake.
The transmission manifold combines PowerShift control with oil distribution for lubrication areas and pressure levels. Its low-leakage, pilot-operated TS90 G34L drop-in valve can enable a smaller dedicated gear pump for transmission and lubrication. Designed as a transmission cover, the grey iron sand cast manifold is intended for medium to high annual production volumes, with a nominal pressure of 30bar and a nominal flow rate of 120l/min.
Completing the line-up, the secondary brake valve is a compact brake-by-wire manifold incorporating a redundant brake function and a direct-acting, low-leakage proportional pressure-reducing and relieving valve with an inverse characteristic. Options cover different control pressure ranges, flow rates and control characteristics, and the design can integrate a hose burst valve, mechanical accumulator charging, mechanical brake release for towing and accumulator discharge for service. Typical data are 210bar inlet pressure, 50 l/min nominal flow, 50bar regulated pressure and 10l/min brake flow, depending on the selected valve.
