Manitou Group is presenting a range of new products at ConExpo, with a focus on electrification and the expansion of its compact loader offering for the North American market. The launches are underpinned by the company’s Lift 2030 roadmap, which centres on evolving customer requirements.
Five new large-frame skid steer and track loader models are now available for the North American market, with first deliveries scheduled during March. Manufactured in Madison, South Dakota, the range features rated operating capacities from 3,250lbs to 3,600lbs and represents a comprehensive redesign of the segment. The lineup includes three skid steer loaders available under the Gehl and Manitou brands, and two track loaders also available under both brands.
The machines offer bucket breakout force of up to 47.3lbf and a hinge pin height of up to 11ft, and utilise vertical lift linkage engineered for truck loading and material handling. The hydraulic system features load-sensing technology that optimises fuel consumption and power delivery, with standard auxiliary flow of up to 25gpm and high flow of up to 40gpm.

“The chassis, structure, and inherent robustness of these models allow operators to lift, carry, and position heavy loads with total confidence. When combined with our hydraulic performance, the result is an extremely efficient machine that is a pleasure to operate,” says Nathan Ryan, compact loader product manager at Manitou Group.
The operator environment has been updated with a more spacious cab, a new 7-inch colour display, a backlit keypad and intuitive controls. The Hydraglide ride control system is now standard, and the lift arm design provides improved visibility and hydraulic hose protection. Connectivity is provided via the myManitou and myGehl mobile apps for operational monitoring and fleet management. The Gehl V335 skid steer loader and the Manitou 3600 VT track loader represent the segment at ConExpo.
The three skid steer models — the Gehl V325 (Manitou 3250 V), Gehl V335 (Manitou 3350 V) and Gehl V360 (Manitou 3600 V) — weigh 9,100lbs/4.1t, 9,835lbs/4.4t and 10,320lbs/4.7t respectively. Rated operating capacities at 50% are 3,250lbs/1.5t, 3,550lbs/1.6t and 3,600lbs/1.7t, with power outputs of 72HP/53.7kW, 99.8HP/74.4kW and 114HP/85kW. High-flow hydraulic output on the V325 is 34GPM/128.7L/min, rising to 40GPM/151.4L/min on both the V335 and V360.
The two track loader models — the Gehl VT335 (Manitou 3350 VT) and Gehl VT360 (Manitou 3600 VT) — weigh 11,840lbs/5.3t and 12,160lbs/5.5t respectively. Rated operating capacities at 35% are 3,350lbs/1.5t and 3,600lbs/1.6t, with both models producing 40GPM/151.4L/min of high-flow hydraulic output. Power outputs are 99.8HP/74.4kW and 114HP/85kW.
Also on show is the MTA 519 e, an all-electric telehandler designed exclusively for the North American market. The machine operates on a 33kWh lithium-ion battery that can be partially charged, and offers a lifting height of 19ft 1in with a capacity of 5,500lbs. Autonomy extends to up to 5 hours of continuous operation, and the manufacturer states that the configuration reduces maintenance costs by 56% compared to internal combustion equivalents. The model features a new cab, a specialised joystick and a universal skid steer connection for attachments. First deliveries are expected towards the end of Q2 2026.
Manufactured in France, the MTA 519 e is transported to the USA via the Neoliner, described as the world’s largest sailing cargo ship, operating between Nantes, France, and the Port of Baltimore, Maryland. The vessel uses wind energy and reduces carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional vessels.
Manitou Group’s LIFT 2030 roadmap targets electric machines representing 28% of total sales by 2030. At ConExpo, the company is also showcasing four all-electric aerial work platform models — three scissor lifts and one vertical mast lift — with platform heights ranging from 19 to 32ft 2in.
The MRT 2660 e hybrid rotating telehandler is also on display, offering a lifting height of up to 85ft and a maximum load capacity of 13,200lbs. The model can be configured with an additional battery for extended 8-hour shifts or an E-Xtra generator for continuous hybrid operation.
“The ability to work in tight spaces, combined with a compact footprint, allows us to offer a 131-foot lift height model that remains simple to operate and set up,” says Carlo Alberto Razzoli, global product manager for rotative telehandlers at Manitou Group. Initial deliveries for the high-reach model are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
For the North American market, the MTA 842 telehandler has undergone a complete redesign with the primary objective of reducing the total cost of ownership by 8.7% compared to the previous version. The model offers simplified engine access, easier cab entry via the Easy-step system and enhanced operator visibility. Its primary applications include general construction and tasks requiring precise material placement, with a maximum lift capacity of 8,000lbs and a lift height of 42ft.

The group also presents the MRT 4070, the flagship of its Vision+ rotating telehandler range. The model reaches a lift height of 131ft with a maximum lift capacity of 15,400lbs and a horizontal outreach of up to 88ft. It is powered by a 211hp engine and features a continuously variable transmission for seamless power delivery. Applications include industrial construction, maintenance and renovation, masonry, roofing, and both wood and steel framing.
“The strategic investments our group has made in our American facilities in recent years provide us with the production capacity needed to support the rollout of our new compact loader and telehandler ranges. This scale allows us to meet surging market demand while elevating the customer experience. The new line-ups showcased at ConExpo are a testament to Manitou Group’s innovative edge and our commitment to delivering solutions specifically engineered for the North American market,” says Brad Boehler, president of the North American region at Manitou Group.
