iVT International will host a panel discussion on sensor fusion and functional safety for autonomous off-highway vehicles at iVT Expo Chicago on Tuesday 19 August at 2:30pm.
The 40-minute roundtable, titled Seeing Safely: Sensor Fusion and Functional Safety for Autonomous Machines on Unstructured Terrain, will be moderated by iVT‘s editor at large, Saul Wordsworth.
Panellists include Maik Graenitz, global industry and NPI program manager for mobile automation, SICK, Anant Patel, vice president of operations and strategic projects, MOBA Mobile Automation and Jason Looman, president North America, Scanreco.
The discussion will explore how OEMs and suppliers are solving perception and safety challenges as machines move toward higher levels of autonomy in unpredictable environments such as construction sites and fields.
The session is free to attend and will take place at the iVT Live Stage.
