Proventia to develop exhaust aftertreatment systems for AGCO Stage V Engines

0

Proventia has developed a new exhaust aftertreatment system for Stage V-compliant engines. The system, developed by the Finnish-based clean technologies company, will be fitted to AGCO Power’s engines following the signing by the two companies of a joint research and development collaboration agreement regarding improving exhaust aftertreatment systems.

The nature of the relationship will see Proventia provide research, development and engineering of exhaust line platforms for AGCO Power’s Stage V engines, and will also perform emission and durability testing for the Stage V exhaust system platforms.

Petri Saari, vice president of sales and marketing, Proventia, said, “We are very pleased that AGCO is choosing Proventia as an emission partner to meet the needs of Stage V emission requirements. This new agreement will widen our current co-operation with AGCO from the provision of exhaust and insulation system supplies to a new level of research and development.

“We have worked closely with AGCO Power for over 10 years now in the development, manufacture and supply of emission systems for manufacturers using AGCO Power engines. We are very happy to continue and extend the co-operation within the Stage V challenges.”

AGCO International is responsible for the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural equipment.
