Czech sprayer manufacturer Agrio MZS was awarded two medals for its self-propelled Dino cropsprayer at TechAgro, held on April 3-7, 2016, in Brno, Czech Republic. This newly developed self-propelled sprayer won Grand Prix recognition, while a Silver Medal was awarded for the electronic axle steering, developed in association with Claas.

“Both of these awards make us very proud, because they show that our machines have the highest level of quality. Only in this way we can achieve the best for our customers,” said Ivan Olšan, chairman of Agrio.

The Dino is the latest machine from Agrio, and features ground clearance of 140cm and a 6,600-liter tank volume. The sprayer is fitted with a cat.4 cabin supplied by Claas, with a 6.7 liter 210kW Tier 4F Iveco engine powering a Poclain hydrostatic drive system. Customers can select booms up to 36m. Serial production is expected to begin in 2018.

Agrio was founded in 1993 and is the biggest producer of field sprayers in Czech Republic, with an annual production of about 130 machines. The wide range includes other self-propelled sprayers, trailed sprayers and mounted sprayers for use on Unimogs or the JCB Fastrac.
