Tobroco-Giant adds enhanced wheel loader option

0

Tobroco-Giant has added an additional model to its wheel loader range that has increased stability and lifting capacity.

The new D337T X-Tra sits alongside the standard Giant D337 and has a lower front frame which provides the vehicle with a lower center of gravity. The result is that the model has a tipping load capacity of 2,054kg, more than 500kg more than the 1,450kg maximum of the basic model.

Powered by a 24.6kW, three-cylinder Kubota diesel engine that comes equipped with a Bosch Rexroth hydraulic pump, the new wheel loader offers smooth and powerful driving characteristics.

Hydrostatic four-wheel drive with automotive control and automatic differential lock on both axles provides a driving speed of 18km/h, while a heavy-duty version comes with a larger hydraulic pump and so provides extra traction in second gear. Measured with the earth bucket, the service weight of the vehicle is 2,200kg and it has a lifting height of 2.45m.

Like all Giant machines, the pendulum joint between the front and back frame is completely maintenance free. To meet with European regulations, the X-Tra model as standard is equipped with a ROPS/FOPS safety roof and safety doors.
