Linak has announced the release of a compact but powerful actuator, which adds to the range offered by the company.

The new electric linear LA33 is a mid-range actuator, and shares similar features with the line of actuators already available from Linak including an integrated controller (IC), hall sensors (for relative and absolute feedback), proportional speed control, and precise positioning through analog or digital feedback.

The new electric linear actuation solution is IP66/IP69K-approved, making it a durable product able to withstand powerful water jets and harsh environments.

A Linak spokesperson said, “The LA33 actuator is a true mid-size actuator that combines compact design and high power in one solution, fit for use in the most extreme environments.

“A thorough and demanding testing program forms the basis for the maintenance-free and long-lasting performance of this solid and high-quality actuator. This world-class durability is only possible to achieve through intensive groundwork, extensive experience, and of course rigorous testing prior to release.”

The new product provides a maximum thrust of 5,000N and a maximum speed of 35mm/s. It is available with IC Basic, IC Advanced and Bus.
