Bumper show expected for Hillhead 2018

Next year’s Hillhead event is to be the biggest yet, according to the event’s organisers. The biannual show hosted a record 476 exhibitors in 2016, as well as a 7.1% increase in show-on-show attendance with 18,601 unique visitors from 71 countries passing through the doors at the Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton in Derbyshire, UK.

Rebookings for next year’s event have already started and the expectation is that Hillhead 2018 will be even bigger, with the showground already starting to fill up.

Hillhead 2018 director Richard Bradbury said, “The appetite for the show continues to thrive, and we were oversubscribed in 2016. Frustratingly, we were unable to accommodate around 80 exhibitor requests.

“A combination of adding an additional bay to the Registration Pavilion and moving the registration area itself into an adjacent structure should meet indoor demand, while a redesign and expansion of the Registration Demo area will allow us to showcase even more working plant and equipment outdoors in 2018 – a feature that is synonymous with Hillhead.”

The event will take place on June 26-28, 2018, at Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry in the UK, with further details available here www.hillhead.com
