Case IH is bringing a range of machine updates to the 2026 Farm Progress Show taking place this week (1-3 September), spanning its Axial-Flow combines, a new windrower and model-year changes across its tractor lines, alongside the special-edition Heartland Magnum and new Providence Magnum tractors on display.
“Producers today are navigating an increasingly complex landscape and our job is to help make that easier,” says Kurt Coffey, vice president, North America at Case IH. “We are focused on evolving our fleet, bringing together robust horsepower, more comfort, intuitive precision technology and full machine lifecycle support with our parts and service offering to ensure every producer we serve is equipped to maximize their profit potential and time in the cab.”
The new WD6 series windrower introduces Relative Yield Mapping, which Case IH says allows producers to view a map of relative in-field yield variations while harvesting, with the data stream viewable through the Case IH FieldOps platform.
For the 2027 model year, the Axial-Flow 160 series combine gains dual Pro 1200 displays, giving a live in-cab view of the GrainCam and adding Remote Display View and Real Time Monitoring to FieldOps. The series now offers the Vector Pro receiver and RowGuide Pro for row guidance, along with AccuTurn Pro end-of-row turning for hands-free automated steering and connectivity included. Ordering is offered through two technology packages with subscription-free technology, which the company says makes the machine field-ready without the need to manage renewals.
Outside the cab, the 160 series combine gains upgraded sensors for responsiveness and reliability, and a grain-tank dual cross-auger shut-off to help prevent grain loss.
The Axial-Flow 260 series combine now includes standard LED light packages for the 2027 model year. To extend service life, it features new cast-iron cone rotor vanes that Case IH says extend the lifespan of both the cone and the cage, alongside ActiveTrac scrapers that clear mud and debris from the sprocket to reduce track wear.
Across the Axial-Flow series, combines have a shorter unloading spout for improved grain-cart clearance and an expanded spreader speed range for greater residue control when harvesting with a narrower head. A new 28.5in ActiveTrac option is available for operations requiring a narrow working footprint.
Among the tractors, the Farmall compact A series adds the 45A, 50A and 55A models, aimed at everyday work around livestock or acreage with easy access, a comfortable operator area and intuitive controls. The Providence Magnum tractor, on the Case IH booth, carries a contemporary paint scheme the company positions as a celebration of American agriculture.
For the 2027 model year, Steiger tractors receive operator-focused updates including a redesigned black cab interior, integrated in-floor storage and an optional in-cab refrigerator on Premium Luxury cab models, along with enhanced Smart Torque 2.0 hydraulic technology and expanded rear ballast availability across the Quadtrac line-up.
The Optum series, offering up to 435hp with independent front suspension and a 37mph road speed, gains Max Protect Coverage as standard on all 2027 model-year tractors, comprising a three-year/3,000-hour factory warranty and a planned maintenance agreement. The Puma series, meanwhile, gains a new vehicle design that Case IH says delivers a smoother ride and improved manoeuvrability alongside an updated operator experience and precision technology.
